On July 9th 2019, We had a one day refresher training for Cooks and Messman.
IFS (International Food Services) One Day Training 2019 has been held at EBU Office, and the training was provided by Michel Pradolini as a CEO of International Food Services. In total we had 13 participants, consisted of nine Cooks and four Messman.
The training gave a lot of knowledge and interesting subjects to the seafarer. They learned about how providing healthier (detailed consumption and nutrition) and tastier food, serve a multicultural cuisine, optimizing the supply chain, cost control and increased purchase power by reducing waste and inefficiencies.
The training is really worth because the seafarer had a new knowledge to improve their cooking skill, solving the problem in the galley, and set up kitchen efficiently and perfectly. They really had a good time, and they can’t wait for the next IFS Training!
