Public lecture at PIP Semarang
PT Equinox Bahari Utama once again conducted public lecture and apprentice recruitment at PIP Semarang. This is the 2nd time where PT EBU was being invited after the 1st invitation in 2018. The activity was held virtually in the Meeting Room of the Deputy Director of PIP Semarang on Monday, December 14, 2020 through the Zoom Meeting application.
Acting as a representative for the Director of PIP Semarang, the Head of the Sub Division of Personnel and Alumni, Budi Joko Raharjo, MM, M.Mar.E., who delivered the opening speech to all the 278 apprentices and advised them who had been given the opportunity to do the test to take this opportunity and also to thanking PT. Equinox Bahari Utama and hopes to continue to carry out good cooperation, so that PIP Semarang apprentices can do the apprenticeship at PT. Equinox Bahari Utama.
The subject of the lecture itself was focusing on the expectation of the Ship Owners towards the apprentice and future officers. The apprentices were very enthusiastic in following the online session and felt so grateful to be given a tips and tricks how to perform onboard as an apprentice next year.
The apprentice recruitment was being conducted straight after the public lecture, consisting of 5 apprentices from the Deck department, 6 apprentices from the Engine department and 5 apprentices from the Marine Transportation and Port Management Study Program.
