PT Equinox Bahari Utama attended the 10th RUA (General Meeting of Members) CIMA (Consortium of Indonesian Manning Agencies) with the theme “SEAFARER: At The Core of Shipping Future, through The Development of Maritime Competence” as well as the election of the general chairman of CIMA for the term 2022 – 2025 which was won by Mr. Gatot Cahyo Sudewo SE, MM Tr, CPHCM.
Mr. Gatot Cahyo Sudewo SE, MM Tr, CPHCM seeks to add new members so that CIMA becomes stronger. SIUPPAK (Business Permit for Recruitment and Placement of Crew) holders who have not entered CIMA are targeted for adding new members up to 30%. Currently, 184 companies are holding SIUPPAK.
The Chairperson of the RUA CIMA Committee Mr. Angga Luthfi Eldrianto MM as well as Director, Group Chief Executive Officer of PT Equinox Bahari Utama said, “CIMA is determined to continue to provide the best service and show results that can strengthen the maritime sector in Indonesia. Armed with maritime independence, in the future CIMA as one of the pillars supporting Indonesia’s maritime industry, is optimistic that we will be able to restore Indonesia’s glory as a great maritime nation and be respected by other nations in the world.
