PT Equinox Bahari Utama, in cooperation with Consortium of Indonesian Manning Agent, was joining a meeting which initiated by Ministry of Sea Transportation and Communication (Sea Comm) on March 8th. The meeting
was being focused on the COVID-19 vaccination for the Indonesian Seafarers.
With the fast changing landscape of COVID-19, Indonesia managed to do the first vaccination on January this year and to be distributed to all over Indonesia till Q2 2022, as per indicated by the Government. Seafarer, as one of the frontlines in the maritime industry, need to be included in a category of population that would allow them to be vaccinated with priority.
We recognize that we have a shared responsibility to ensure that current crisis is resolved as soon as possible and to use the learnings from the crisis as an opportunity to build more resilient maritime supply chain by working together across the value chain with industry stakeholders, organizations and with government to implement solutions that work in practice.
