Seafarer Identity Document (SID)

As enclosed, effective May 1st  2023, Brazil will strictly enforce the SID requirement at their ports.

All our crewmember (marine, hotel) joining vessels calling Brazilian ports must have valid SID or when applicable, entry visa to Brazil.

Please find the enclosed guidance and circular for you to be guided for our crewmember, related to SID. We need to emphasize the same to our crewmember and to comply.
