@anthonyveder_official, represented by Saskia Herkemij and PT. @equinox.bahari.utama_marine, represented by Director Angga Luthfi, Capt. Honest and Farichia, had the opportunity to visit PIP Semarang on 9th of February, to have sharing session with 350 apprentices and to brainstorm about the expectation of International Ship Owners towards apprentices and future officers. The day started with a welcome movie of Anthony Veder showing the vessels and the people on board giving the time for all apprentices to know about the Company. We were having a very interactive discussion where the apprentices were being given opportunity to share their motivation, insight about their apprenticeship plan and the importance of English communication skill. We were also having a fruitful session to discuss about culture differences onboard Anthony Veder vessels and how importance to have sense of responsibility and positive attitude (conduct) by the apprentices while having their apprenticeship onboard.

At the end of the session we were giving tips and tricks how to complete the Training Record Book in time for the apprentices, as we also highlighted the importance to complete it as soon as practicable with the guidance by the mentor onboard. We were also having opportunity to visit some training simulators and to understand the training and education programs run by PIP Semarang. The day was closed with the interview session to pre-selected apprentices as part of the assessment before being assigned as apprentices onboard Anthony Veder.

It was a very nice session and we thank to PIP Semarang for the hospitality and to wish all the apprentices best of luck for their future career!
