At Hotel Grand Mercure Kemayoran Jakarta with the topics are focusing on group discussion and launching BP3IP Seafarer Career Center. There some foremost people who was invited in this event: Head of “BPSDM” (Development Council of Human Resources of Communication), Directorate General of SEACOM, Head of “INSA” (Indonesian National Shipowners Association), and Head Of “CIMA” (Consortium of Indonesian Manning Agencies) as they are shared some beneficial information during the event.
Synergy of BP3IP
Director of BP3IP, Capt. Weku Frederik Karuntu, M.M. was explained the background of synergy is consist of improving, connecting, and handling to educate and moving forward to the next level of industry 4.0 based on IT and it is also support by SK MEN HUB KM No.58 year of 2009 and PM No.84 year of 2013. BP3IP invites to all manning agencies to cooperate with the Institution in the term of maximize human resources and giving constructive feedback for seafarer graduate from BP3IP.
BP3IP Seafarer Career Center
The launching of BP3IP Seafarer Career Center is aimed to have improvement on competence and qualified seafarer, connecting seafarer with company and handling seafarer by giving advice and cooperation. They also launched a smart card for seafarer that contain access information to the website http://www.bp3ipseafarer.net/login, access providing to update CV, e-Document certificates, and reminder for job application. The website of BP3IP Seafarer Career Center http://ecareer.bp3ipseafarer.net/ has some benefits for the shipping company who seek a potential candidate by posting a job vacancy without any costs as media tools for giving appraisal to the quality of Institution and quality, discipline, responsibility of its seafarer’s.
In the next development, BP3IP Seafarer Career Center in progress to link on government website, manning agent companies, and related Institution for better future in maritime industry. Also, PT. Equinox Bahari Utama dynamically open to new system that flourish supporting recruitment and placement of its competence seafarer.
